Life was rather grim in my childhood. I would come home from public Middle Schooling and escape from my life into the realms of the way the internet was before, mainly runescape. And I had a dear friend who showed me Newgrounds. The most punk rock society online. Yesterday an acquaintance was over having drinks and he had me dialed into old reddit. And I was not amused, I showed him some of my favorite animations from newgrounds and asked him why in the world he spent his time on reddit if this was here. I didn't know I was blessed to have someone bringing this into my life in those formative years. Witnessing artists bloom, not for money but to put out a vision that had nothing to do with commercial success. This has shaped my life. Now I'm 30, I have a beautiful family and if I can I would love to give back. My wife and I want to work with animators and writers as co writers and musicians and voice actors. Hopefully we'll be able to be a part of you seeing your work bloom.
